Start with the next-alarm preview and a test alarm while the screen is locked. A missing permission or a phone’s battery manager can prevent reliable ringing.
- Confirm a calendar’s alarm switch is on and that it contains a timed event. Check lead time, earliest time, skip state and the displayed next alarm.
- In Android’s ProfCalendar settings, allow alarms and reminders (exact alarms) where shown, full-screen notifications where supported, and notifications. Exempt ProfCalendar from battery optimisation.
- On Huawei/EMUI, allow manual app launch, secondary launch and background running. On Samsung, remove it from sleeping/deep-sleeping apps. On Xiaomi, allow autostart and unrestricted battery use. Names vary with system version.
Restart the app after changing permissions and repeat the locked-screen test. Check the selected sound and volume. If the test still fails, contact support with phone model, Android version and the preview time.
If it still doesn't work
Check sync help or contact support. Tell us the app version and what you tried; never send passwords or private calendar contents.
