Add the home-screen widget

The Android widget shows your upcoming seven days without opening ProfCalendar. It reads the phone’s saved calendar data; cycle data is excluded.

1. Touch and hold an empty area on your Android home screen and open the widget picker.
2. Find ProfCalendar and drag its widget onto the home screen. The exact launcher wording varies by phone.
3. Tap the widget to open ProfCalendar. Open the app and sync if recent changes are missing.

Updates also run periodically, so the widget may lag behind the app. This feature is not available in the web app.
