Import or export calendars

Android imports calendars already available on your phone. Both clients export calendar events as .ics files that other calendar apps can open.

1. On Android, open Settings → Import device calendar, allow calendar access and select a device calendar. Events go into your personal calendar.
2. Use Export data (.ics) in Settings to share .ics files on Android, or download them in the web app.
3. Import the file in your other calendar app and check a timed and a repeating event.

Importing again updates the same device events. Individual exceptions of imported repeating events are not imported. Export includes other members’ events in shared calendars, but excludes cycle data and is not a complete account-data archive.

If it still doesn't work

Check sync help or contact support. Tell us the app version and what you tried; never send passwords or private calendar contents.
